Mattress Association has appointed Held to the board

At its meeting on the occasion of this year’s IMM Cologne, the Mattress Industry Association appointed Carl-Christoph Held to the board of directors for the current term of office. There he will succeed Andreas Eule as an assessor. Eule relinquished the management of Herbert Neumeyer Holding and the mattress manufacturer fan Frankenstolz Schlafkomfort, which he took over in June 2017, at the end of December 2019 and has moved to the Supervisory Board of the Frankenstolz Group. At the same time, he resigned from the board of the Mattress Association. His management responsibilities at Frankenstolz were transferred to Held, who joined the company at the beginning of the year. Previously, Held was CEO of the office furniture manufacturer König-Neurath from April 2011 until the end of 2019.

In addition to Held, the board of the Mattress Industry Association is made up of the chairman Thomas Bußkamp (EuroComfort Group) and his deputy Lars Brunsø (Akva Waterbeds) as well as Michael Sailer (foreman) as a further member. Since January 2019, Martin Auerbach has been the Association’s Managing Director. He has been in charge of the Association of the German Home Textile Industry (Heimtex) since the end of 2009.
